Can I use this phase in the following sentence?
"I know that Tony is a soft touch, so I'm going to get him to go on a stealing spree with me."
Hello O - no, that's not normal usage. It tends to be used when you can get something off someone easily. I hope that helps.
Can I use it in negative?
Tony is not such a soft touch - try and get cakes off him!
